Welcome to Marshian Studio, the digital launching pad for the brothers Jay and Alan Marsh. We've been creating beautiful things since we were old enough to hold a camera. Growing up with art director/graphic designer parents you learn that a crop mark is not where the corn field ends. We used to tag along with our father as he directed photos for his clients in the Atlanta area. Jay graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design where he majored in Illustration and Photography. Alan is a self-taught woodworker who specialized in corporate displays and events. Photography made the jump from hobby to profession a few years ago when a client needed a very specific shot for a rush job. We designed and built the set, bought a Nikon D1, and launched ourselves into photographic orbit. Since then the bulk of our work has been for corporate clients; everything from executive portraits to products and events.
Our studio is completely portable allowing us to shoot in virtually any location – a wonderful thing when you need photos of busy people. In most cases we can leave you with a CD of your photos at the end of the shoot. Our equipment is completely digital, eliminating the need for film processing and scanning. Marshian Studio services include composition and design, set and prop production, and post production, including Photoshop and file formatting.
